Rampart and Coldfoot. They are preserved in Nat. Herb., Washington.

J. H., Dr., collected Aug. 3 single specimens on Kiska I.

Thetis Creek in July. Specimens in Nat. Herb., Washington.
1904. Swift,
Fred A., obtained a small collection, now in Gray Herb., at Coldfoot
in July-Aug.
1905. Dossel,
E., Mrs., obtained a small collection, now in Gray Herb., along
Yukon R.
1905. Burchham, J.
S., of the U. S. Bureau of Fisheries, collected about 140 specimens
in southernmost Alaska. July 19 he was at McDonald Lake, July 22
N. of Yes Bay and »on trail to Santa Ana». He was drowned
in McDonald Lake.
1905. Engström,
J., captain, collected a few specimens at Wrangell.
1905-1910.
Heideman, Charles W. H., collected at Fort Gibbon, along
Koyukuk R, in the upper Copper R. valley and on Mt Wrangell, Mt Drum and
Mt Sanford, as well as between Pt Barrow and Mackenzie R. Most of
the extensive collections were destroyed by shipwreck and fire.
The collection from Fort Gibbon obtained in May-Sept. 1905 is in Nat.
Herb., Washington. Specimens collected at Coldfoot and at Copper
Center in 1908 were also seen.
1905. Flemer,
John Adolph, engineer to the U. S. Commission for the demarcation
of thc Alaskan boundary, collected about 60 specimens, now in Nat. Herb.,
Washington, at the headwaters of Chilkat R.
1905-1906. Gervais,
Gustave, prospector, collected in Alaska. A report by C.
H. ASQUITH of the collections was published in Plant World 10 (1907) p.
285.
1905. Hilsman,
Arthur, collected a few specimens, now in Nat. Herb., Washington,
at Koyukuk in June.
1905. Romage.
In Nat. Herb.. Washington, are found a few specimens labelled as having
been collected by ROMAGE at Fort Egbert.
1905. Culbertson,
J. D., made a small collection at Windham Bay in September.
Specimens are found in Nat. Herb., Washington and in N. Y. Bot. Gard.
