Patsy H., obtained a small collection of plants at Kougarok region,
Seward Penins.
1922. Pope.,
R. A., obtained a collection of plants near Chickaloon. Specimens
in the Botanic Garden, Brooklyn, duplicates in the author's herb. Some
of the specimens were apparently not from Alaska but from a Californian collection,
and they got mixed up.

In the herb. of the Forest Service in Washington are found a few specimens
from various places in S.E. Alaska labelled with this name. Some of
them are labelled Mrs. DORT.
1922. Stejneger,
Leonard, Dr., curator at the Nat. Mus., Washington, born in Norway,
collected June 30, 1922 on Kayak I., presumably at the same place, where STELLER
made the first collection of Alaskan plants. Specimens in Nat. Herb.,
Washington.
1924. Whited,
Kirk, collected June 29 at Fish Creek; Hyder; Aug. 11 at Steamboat
Bay Cannery; Aug. 17 at Chichagof.
1924. Bartlett,
R. A., captain, collected single specimens. now in Nat. Herb., Washington,
at Unalaska.
1924. Rasmussen,
Knud, Danish explorer, collected during the »Fifth Thule Expedition»
about 50 species at Tigara near Pt Hope. Collection in Copenhagen.
A list of the species was pub1ished by GRØNTVED in Rep. Fifth Thule
Exp. 1921-24. vol. 2, Copenhagen 1936.
1925. Laing,
Hamilton M., of Comox Brit. Columb., member of the Mt Logan Exp.,
obtained a collection of 243 specimens at »Head of Chitina R.»
and »Chitina R. glacier» in May to July 1925. Specimens in Ottawa,
duplicates in other herbaria. Laing's collection is enumerated by PORSILD
in his »Contributions to the flora of Alaska » (Rhodora 41, 1939).
1925. Flory,
C. H., forester, obtained a collection in various places in S.E.
Alaska in 1925 and following years. Specimens in the herbarium of the
Forest Service in Washington.
