A species of rocky areas and woodlands commony called "beautiful Jacob's ladder", "showy Jacob's ladder"
or "skunkleaf Polemonium".  Supposedly crushed leaves have an odor.  Some do and some don't and some
plants stink in the evening without crushing the leaves.  Ssp. identification from Hultén.
